Instead of separate portals for people and machines, the hub structures specs, code samples, and integration patterns so an agent can discover and invoke an endpoint without a human translating the intent. For teams running SAP landscapes alongside MuleSoft, this matters because SAP BTP Integration Suite and MuleSoft AnyPoint already share OData and RFC adapters. If the documentation is agent-readable, an orchestration layer could route work across both platforms without custom glue code.

The practical test is whether the hub’s machine-readable layer is actually sufficient for real tasks. Structured OpenAPI specs and code snippets help, but most enterprise APIs have edge cases, auth quirks, and business-logic gates that break naive agent callers. The hub is early — the real signal will be when a production agent completes a multi-step integration (e.g., SAP S/4HANA sales order → MuleSoft transformation → CRM update) using only the hub’s docs, with no human in the loop.
